UCW Highlights

UCW units (Ella Bateson and Grace) organize events, fundraisers, prepare teas, and support many local and worldwide charities.

Outreach

St. John’s has a long history of Outreach within the Alliston community.

1^st Sunday of the month is pantry Sunday. Food is collected and donated to the local food bank.

White Gift Sunday. Gifts are collected and donated to the Annual Lions Club Christmas drive.

Lenten Project. This year (2025) all money collected during Lent was donated to the Krasman Centre.

Potato Pancake Breakfast. Proceeds from the Potato Pancake Breakfast were donated locally to My Sister’s Place, 4H Club, Stevenson Memorial Hospital and the Benevolent Fund.

John’s Benevolent Fund supports people living locally with financial support.

Funding donated to help with community projects.

South Simcoe Streams. Funding donated to help with this environmental project.

Mission & Service. The United Church of Canada Mission & Service fund.
